Product:  .023” thick PMCTPE-45

 

Description:  A thermoplastic elastomer with matt finish.  Has good flexibility, good sealing characteristics, excellent co-efficient of friction, excellent heat resistance, and good fluid resistance.

 

Potential applications: 

Ø      When laminated to foam, this material makes an excellent non-slip pad for marine applications.

Ø      Gaskets

Ø      Non-slip surfaces for household step stools, ladders, etc.

Ø      Non-slip surface for automotive aftermarket applications (running boards, cargo area trays in SUV’s, etc).

PMCTPE-45 has the capability to withstand exposure to elevated temperatures for extended periods of time.  This material may be considered for service up to 135 C (275 F) for extended periods and up to 150 C (302 F) for short periods.
